Specimens

“Specimens” is a collection of scientists. It requires insightful knowledge about scientist’s habitats, dwelling and bohemianism to corner one. But even then, the scientist might not reward you with an in vogue smile or casual ignorance, but will turn away, outraged by the threatening lens. Therefore it is necessary to utilize the scientists’ sense of curiosity by retreating to unconventional ways of making portraits. I do this by using the collodion process -approved since 1851- and whose beauty can be observed and understood instantaneously.
